David Lawrence: Back in a moment.

Billy Joe Armstrong sat down with fans for a live discussion in New York this weekend sponsored by the New York Times and their Arts and Leisure section. It was called Walking a Contradiction. The event was moderated by John Pareles. He writes for the Times. Boulevard of Broken dreams, this is Green Day at #9 this week on the Net Music Countdown.

David Lawrence: Twenty six minutes before the hour. I am 2 minutes early. My name is David Lawrence name of the show is Online Tonight. Thanks so much for tuning in on great radio stations all across the country. On WGN in Chicago, the mighty XM, Sirius, KNEW in San Francisco, KFBK in Sacramento, our stations in Hawaii and in Portland thanks for tuning in. I appreciate it very much. 180039 online is our telephone number. I believe we lost a cell call just now. So we do have one open line if you want to jump in to get on the air. 180039 online, 18003966546. Jeff you are on Online Tonight with David Lawrence, hello sir.

Jeff: Good evening, how are you tonight?

David Lawrence: I am fine thank you for asking.

Jeff: I*ve got a brand new Noble computer. I am a truck driver. This is my second one in 3 years.

David Lawrence: Okay.

Jeff: And I would, a real simple question is it better to store it in the truck which is bouncing all over the place on edge or flat?

David Lawrence: It doesn*t matter a whit.

Jeff: So it*s not going to hurt the hard drive at all or anything?

David Lawrence: The hard drive is not the thing you should be most concerned about. The thing you should be most concerned about is the screen. The screen will be damaged far more often by mishandling and rough treatment and bumpy roads and speed bumps and whatnot than the hard drive will. The hard drive is built to withstand inordinate gees but the screen on the other hand especially on the larger ones, the ones that are, I don*t know what you have got but the wide.

Jeff: It*s 17 inch.
