Ron: Okay now when I am also online and I do a Windows R and to go to another website it will take me to my desktop, go back to the website that I was on and then take me back to my desktop and then take me to the new website. I was wondering do I have like any Spyware or Adware because I did a house call check and it says congratulation I don*t have any--

David Lawrence: House call.

Ron: Yes.

David Lawrence: Yeah and now what I recommend, here is what I recommend and I actually say this on the show pretty much every week. So here is this week*s repeat of the three pieces of Adware/Spyware fighting software that I recommend. Ad-Aware is one of them and you meant to say Adware not Ad-Aware. Ad-Aware is a piece of software that fights Spyware and Adware that*s one. Number two Spybox Search and Destroy.

Ron: Yes I have those. I have those on my computer.

David Lawrence: And then the third one is Microsoft Anti Spyware. All three of those you should run together unlike virus software, Anti virus software which you should only run one of. You should run all three of those pieces together, use them over and over and over make sure they are up to date checking them. I would call Earthlink and find out what the deal is because they can actually dial into your computer and watch it with a online session and see what*s going on.

Ron: Okay.

David Lawrence: And see if something is going on with the virus. I don*t know earthlink is kind of screwy in terms of, are you using their DSL?

Ron: Yes.

David Lawrence: Yeah. They are kind of screwy in how they connect people up to the Internet. So I would call them and I would ask them what the deal is and have them watch your connection see if something is going on. Its three minutes before the hour. Stay right where you are.
