David Lawrence: I appreciate the call. Sid.

Sid: Hi

David Lawrence: Hi you are online tonight with David Lawrence. How can I help you sir?

Sid: Yes I would like to know what the advantage of rebooting the computer in the safe mode is?

David Lawrence: Rebooting your computer in safe mode that*s a great question and the advantage is that when you reboot in safe mode or when you boot in safe mode you are starting the computer up in a pristine state without any sort of additions or special software running anything you might have downloaded or has been downloaded inadvertently Adware, Spyware and whatever.

Sid: I see.

David Lawrence: Safe mode is designed also so that nothing, nothing is running when you are running a scan disc because if you start scan disc in a normal boot mode it will eventually stop because your hard drive will change state something will happen. You will go get E-mail or something will want to update or Windows will want to run some sort of goofy diagnostic, if you start up in safe mode though it's a lot easier to diagnose issues with your hard drives. So that*s what safe mode is all about and that*s why you are told to start up in safe mode because it is bare naked, no editions just the way the machine starts up from scratch when it first opens okay.

Sid: Cool.

David Lawrence: I appreciate the call. Take a break hey if you are not with the Podcast go check it out back in the moment.
