Don you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence hello sir.

Don: Hi David.

David Lawrence: How can I help you?

Don: I want first some advice about hiring finding out where good, how to hire a good website developer. I am launching a business next year and it's going to have fairly extensive website probably 250 to 300 pages and fairly complicated. What's the process we should go through to track down the best developer out there?

David Lawrence: Well you say that these pages, this site is going to have 250 pages or so. Is it a site that will grow overtime because new content will be added all the time?

Don: That's correct.

David Lawrence: Okay so then I would start with somebody who is qualified in doing database development for a website, doing a database driven website as opposed to static pages because if you are constantly managing static pages its get a little unwieldy after about 10. And you are starting with 250 so I would do this with somebody who is reasonably well versed in PHP and MySQL or if you must ColdFusion I am not a big fan of ColdFusion but what I would do is go to a site like Design Outpost or Elance or any of the sites like that where you can actually go and say hey I have got this website idea and I would like to have some of you bid on it. This is where free lancers go to get work and you basically say I am doing, what's your site about?

Don: Its nature oriented.

David Lawrence: Nature oriented okay. So say it was outdoor adventures I am doing a site about outdoor adventures I want somebody to create a design schema for me. I maybe already, we maybe already have some design elements made your logo and so on here are the logos that I already have
