Previously: BackupPlan >>
Next: David Lawrence's Personal Netcast - 9/24/2005 >>
Alonzo: Right.
David Lawrence: Yeah and the same thing with the Maxtor. So that*s what we recommend its Maxtor OneTouch, and that*s spelled Maxtor OneTouch all one word and it*s the Maxtor OneTouch 100, 200 and 300. I will put links up during the next break on the website at www.onlinetonight.com for them, okay.
Alonzo: Okay, second question.
David Lawrence: Real quick.
Alonzo: I am having, I am unable to update my Antivirus program and AntiSpyware programs.
David Lawrence: You are unable to?
Alonzo: Yes when I get online, I go for the updates and then it says it can't find the site.
David Lawrence: What Antivirus software are you using?
Alonzo: I am using Adaware, Spybot-Search & Destroy and Antivirus Panda Titanium, Antivirus 2005.
David Lawrence: Okay the Panda Titanium you can to go Panda and since you have your key, you can just simply download a new version, update it, reinstall it, it maybe that a virus has disabled your ability to do so.
Alonzo: Okay.
David Lawrence: So what I would do is go to www.pandachallenge.com and do the online scan. There you don*t have to worry about it not being able to find the site you are actually at the site. And it will scan your machine and it might find something that, see because that*s what virus writers are doing these days. Is they are really messing with people in a big way. They are going to the map they are making sure that our Firewalls are disabled, that Antivirus software is disabled, not updatable and so on. It*s a real arms race and if you are using Panda already then I would go to www.pandachallenge.com there is a big old button on the second screen I think, that says check my PC on line. So that*s the way to do it.
Alonzo: Why didn*t I think that before?
David Lawrence: There you go.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
