This is David Lawrence with a Panda Software Virus Alert. Panda Labs TruPrevent Technology has discovered Sober.I. It is a worm that spreads via E-mail in a message that changes on a regular basis. Panda is still studying this. They are placing it at a red alert level high threat. They are still trying to figure out all the different things that it does. They have also discovered Msnsoug.A, a Trojan that sends the message SOU GAY that means I am gay in Portuguese to all the contacts in an MSN messenger list that are active at the moment. Both of these affect all flavors of Windows. Make sure your machine is safe from infection. Go to pandachallenge.com for a free sweep of your hard drive and special pricing on Panda products, that's pandachallenge.com.
I am in the Consumer Electronic Show. It*s online tonight with David Lawrence.
David Lawrence: We are in the middle of heart beat central. It feels like the whole room is getting ready to lift on the North Hall here at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas at the Consumer Electronic Show is dedicated mostly to mobile audio and I guess in English the phrase mobile audio means crank your stuff with it. I am not quite sure but I think that*s the case. We are broadcasting live. We have been here for the last few days and we will bringing you the highlights, the cool gadgets, the great new products, the announcements, the things that we look at and go, I am not so sure that*s going to work.
That won*t be here next year.
David Lawrence: Right and joining us for the first segment of the show to preview something that we have coming up and exclusive on the show is Max Smart from the Family Tech Show. Now we have arranged for Max to hang out just outside the doors at a super session here at the Consumer Electronic Show, which is the largest convention held in the world here in Las Vegas. All the latest consumer electronics from computers to software, to cell phones, to games, to mobile audio, to appliances, to gadgets, I have got an MP3 watch I am going to share with you in a little bit it*s very cool all of its in one location, and it*s international. There is a huge pavilion that has the Koreans and the Taiwanese and the Chinese and the Japanese and the Dutch and the German and all that and it*s huge. It*s too big for the actual Las Vegas Convention Center. And when you think about that and you think about the shoe leather that*s being worn off here at the show it*s really amazing. But what we are going to have Max do is we are going to have him stand just outside the door waiting for the final results which will occur in about an hour and a half to two hours of a session here called the Last Gadget Standing. Now when you come to a show like this you want to see things that are new and fresh and hip and hopefully revolutionary and not stillborn at release you know it*s a great idea but nobody really cares. So what Michael Miller who is the editor in chief of PC world magazine and Robin Raskin who is the Internet Mom are moderating as we speak are the final shootouts between the last 10 cool gadgets standing. Previous winners include Onstar from GM, include Rumba and there are bunch of different things and every one of those has had legs every one of the winners in this thing has had legs. Now Max you went up there to sort of arrange for the walking or walking the try down to the show once they announce the winner. The moment the winner is announced they will be brought down here to the broadcast tower, we are right underneath where MSNBC and CNBC are broadcasting as well. You will escort them down, we will talk to them about their product and hopefully we will have the very first glimpse at what will be what everybody*s talking about next year at this time.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
