Nathan Papadopulos: So what this Web Wizard does it walks you through very simple steps and asks you questions in common language. You don*t have to set up macros or remember IR codes or anything like that. It asks you how things, how people think like how do you use your audio on your system when you are watching the DVD, for example. You have it going trough your stereo receiver and a 5.1 sound system, or do you just use the TV speakers? After you answer all those questions and download that information into your remote control its set up for activities. So you have activity buttons right on the top and those are similar to what people think like macros but its not like that at all because you don*t have to do anything. You push that button, it says watch a movie and what it does is it turns on your television, turns on the stereo receiver, turns on the DVD player, sets your television to the right input, turns your stereo receiver to the right input and ejects the way you drop the DVD in and you are set to go. One button push.
David Lawrence: That*s awesome. Okay so what you have basically done is you have moved the macro off the computer and onto your system because one of the worst things in the world is missing the first part of the movie. All my life, all I wanted to be was a gangster. You miss that because you haven*t switched the one thing, you know the input selector on your home theater system to DVD or because it wasn*t labeled DVD when you bought it in 1989 and its labeled aux you can*t remember that its not there.
Nathan Papadopulos: Yeah I just to reiterate. I mean what Logitech Harmony Remote Controls are actually doing is we are simplifying home entertainment for the whole family. I mean now your 3 year old could pick up the remote control instead of saying daddy I want to watch Lilo and Stitch she could just push the DVD button and that*s Lilo within there. Previously it will start running.
David Lawrence: Okay great so now this is covering the entire spectrum of audio gear that*s available now but it sounds like because of the web link it really doesn*t matter if something that*s coming out in the future is not you know that your device is unaware of it because it easily can be aware of it because of the community that you are building around this.
Nathan Papadopulos: Exactly, exactly. Logitech Harmony Remote Controls are always upgradeable. So once you buy the remote control and then you go and purchase another piece of equipment you could upgrade that. You could just go ahead and add it to your step.
David Lawrence: Okay now this device costs how much?
Nathan Papadopulos: How much would you pay for something like this?
David Lawrence: I am going to say that if I were setting the price point on this depending upon whether is there any long-term like a monthly fee or a yearly fee or --
Nathan Papadopulos: There is no fee.
David Lawrence: So it*s free?
Nathan Papadopulos: Yes.
David Lawrence: So I am going to say it somewhere in the $70 to $90.99 range.
Nathan Papadopulos: Well actually it*s a little bit more than that. If you go and look at some of the high-end systems.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
