Greg Arroyo: Oh yes.
David Lawrence: But it was freezing in here.
Greg Arroyo: Yes it was.
David Lawrence: And now finally on Saturday it's comfortable you know and then you start to develop this cough because the hotels are dry, the air is dry you are in the desert. I hope you survive.
Greg Arroyo: No I am okay.
David Lawrence: Alright terrific. So what do you do? What is your function at Clarion?
Greg Arroyo: I am basically the marketing materials manager so I write our catalogues, anything written for the company I do. I kind of do technical writing as well.
David Lawrence: Wow so you copywriter too.
Greg Arroyo: Yeah, basically.
David Lawrence: It is terrific. And what is your function at Clarion?
Dave MacKinnon: I am marketing and product specialist actually at Clarion Canada.
David Lawrence: Oh good so you are down from where?
Dave MacKinnon: From OCLA Ontario right beside Toronto.
David Lawrence: Very nice you Canadians are sneaky. We found that out from the bare naked ladies.
Dave MacKinnon: Yes we are.
David Lawrence: There you go alright. So let*s talk a little bit about this model VRX755VD. It is a DVD center and we have heard a lot of controversy here at the show this week and a little static last week from our friends at the Federal Government about how DVDs are being installed in cars. We have seen the screens moving forward in the vehicles not just in the back anymore. Now the screens are being put in the front where the driver is and in fact one of the customizing houses West Coast was nailed by the Government for putting a DVD screen in place of the airbag in the driver*s seat in the driving of the steering wheel. Now that*s got to be the worst possible place for placement of a DVD screen and I would imagine you guys don*t endorse that.
Dave MacKinnon: Absolutely not. You know the 15,000 odd fine that West Coast received definitely woke people up to you know you got to keep safety in mind. All of our units have a parking brake interface. You cannot show video unless the parking brake is set in your car.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
