David Lawrence: Exactly.
Nathan Papadopulos: And you go out and get that Plasma and it doesn*t happen to be in our database for instance. You know because this is so brand new it just got on the market. You are like one of the first person who have brought together.
David Lawrence: And you know I have got $20,000 lying around I am going to be the guy to do it.
Nathan Papadopulos: So the first thing you do is that you get home, you take the original remote, you go through the whole set up process. You hook up the Harmony Remote Control by the USB to your PC.
David Lawrence: Okay so let*s be clear about that. You don*t hook the, like normally you point the two at each other end to end to acquire the code set, right. That*s the way a lot of remotes work or you punch in the model number from the manual.
Nathan Papadopulos: Well to set this up there is some of that but we don*t ask you go ahead and push all the buttons. We can download all the characteristics and discreet codes from your system just by pushing three buttons. So you do line it up to set it up that way but is very rarely you have do that because like I said earlier we have tens of thousands of these products.
David Lawrence: So you can but you probably won*t have to?
Nathan Papadopulos: Most likely not.
David Lawrence: Okay so what you do, do though is you take USB cable, you plug in into the bottom of the Harmony Remote from Logitech and then you plug the other end into your computer.
Nathan Papadopulos: Yes.
David Lawrence: It*s a web thing right. So is it you download something of the website?
Nathan Papadopulos: Well there is a web wizard. There is a little CD that does come in the package. You drop that in and it takes you through some very simple steps.
David Lawrence: So you have said a couple of things here. You have said Wizard and PC which makes me wonder is it Mac compatible.
Nathan Papadopulos: It is Mac compatible.
David Lawrence: Great so it*s either one, its either platform. Let*s have a big round of applause for Mac compatibility. All right so go ahead.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
