Thanks for tuning into the show. 7 minutes passed the hour and we are doing a special broadcast live from the show floor at the Consumer Electronic Show arguably the largest convention of its type in the world and certainly the largest here in Las Vegas now the Comdex is down by the wayside kind of. Consumer Electronic Show taking up all three of the halls here at the convention center and many of the outlying hotels with international pavilions and what not, meeting space events. Some of the biggest names in rock *n* roll had been here this week to sort of joining the fun. And right now as we speak as we are doing the show Wayne Newton and Robert Goulet are assigning various appendages in other areas on the show floor. And all the VJ*s from MTV, the original VJ*s Alan Cable, and Mark, and Nina Blackwood and all those guys are over there. They are broadcasting. I saw Rod Stewart last night, finally got on stage at around 10:30 or 10.45. Now Michael you are not, we have Michael Miller from PC Magazine, I have to fix things and so I will say it again PC Magazine. And you are apparently at the event, both of us rolled our eyes simultaneously. It was one of the poorest planned, delayed, obnoxious, annoying, bad sounding, let me go on and on, but it was fun. You get a chance to stay with your friends, right.
Jake Ludington: Well that*s good.
David Lawrence: Yeah. Now it*s just you know you would think Monster Cable sponsored it. You would think they would have wired the room for perfect sound. You can't have perfect sound in a rectangular box, as you know it*s physically impossible to not setup standing waves and so when you have speakers flying in a room that has no sound control whatsoever, it*s not the best environment to hear Rod Stewart.
Chris Pirillo: It*s kind of like all*s going out of my head about 11 or 12 at night.
David Lawrence: There you go if you are in Las Vegas absolutely. Because what happen in Vegas usually happens just down to hall from my room. So now Ralph Bond is with us. Going back we have been on the air with this show.
Jake Ludington: Way back.
David Lawrence: Over a decade and going back to the days when we were on Sunday during the day only as oppose to every night of the week as we are now. Ralph is one of the PC Dads we head you on. Who, your partner*s name again.
Chris Pirillo: Mark Ivey.
David Lawrence: Mark Ivey, there you go.
Chris Pirillo: Yeah, Mark and Ralph.
David Lawrence: And now Mark is playing in the World Professional Poker Tour right.
Ralph Bone: Oh yeah, sure it works for me.
David Lawrence: No, it*s not what he is doing that*s Phil Ivey his son. But anyways.
Ralph Bond: He is working in Silicon Valley, is there a difference?
David Lawrence: No, not much so ever. He is gambling every day with other people*s money.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
