David Lawrence: No whatever happens, happens. Did you get a chance to talk to anybody famous here at the show? Do you remember going to the Sirius Booth and talking to anybody?
Jennifer Smart: Yes.
David Lawrence: Tell me what happened at the Sirius Booth?
Jennifer Smart: Well I went up to a man that had a red tie on and --
David Lawrence: Very nice suit right?
Jennifer Smart: Yes.
David Lawrence: And was his name Joe?
Jennifer Smart: Yes Joe Clayton.
David Lawrence: Oh Joe Clayton you talked to.
Jennifer Smart: Yes.
David Lawrence: Do you know who Joe Clayton is?
Jennifer Smart: He is the ---
David Lawrence: Chairman of the Board.
Jennifer Smart: Chairman of the Board for Sirius.
David Lawrence: For Sirius. And what did you ask him? Did you say would you be on my show?
Jennifer Smart: No, I handed him my card and talked to him a little bit.
David Lawrence: What did he say to you?
Jennifer Smart: He said I never refuse young lady. So he will talk to us.
David Lawrence: On the show? Do you know that it*s very difficult, very hard to get Joe Clayton to come on a radio show? And if he comes on your radio show that would be a real coo. Do you know what coo means?
Jennifer Smart: No.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
