Bob: Well I don*t have Retrospect on either of the hard drives that I have got so I am looking at the box version.
David Lawrence: You don*t need it. You don*t need it. You don*t need it. you don*t need to have Retrospect on the other two drives. In fact when you get Retrospect with the Maxtor it comes on the CD that comes with Maxtor. You actually install it on the computer not on the hard drive.
Bob: I have got two Seagate 200 gig USB.
David Lawrence: Right and for those you don*t need Retrospect. You don*t need to have retrospect on those hard drives. You just simply need to connect them to the drive that you are going to purchase the Maxtor, which I would rather see you do because then you have got a bunch of space backup on, then you just daisy-chain the other two Seagates off of that Maxtor.
Bob: Alright but if I buy the Retrospect that $97 or whatever it is--
David Lawrence: You don*t have to buy the Retrospect. You don*t have to do this. I am telling you exactly what you need to do.
Bob: Your user got better off buying a Maxtor?
David Lawrence: Yes.
Bob: Oh I was thinking I was better off buying the software.
David Lawrence: I know you were Bob. I have heard no less than 7 times. It is 4 minutes before the hour. Ladies and gentleman I am going to go and have an aspirin I think. Jessie?
Jessie: Yeah.
David Lawrence: I am warning you.
Jessie: I am easy.
David Lawrence: I am going to come back after the top of the hour. Alright I am going to come back after the top of the hour and we are going to have a pleasant conversation, okay.
Jessie: Yes sir.
David Lawrence: Hold then line. I just got finished talking about this. Didn*t I? It must be me. 180039 Online is our telephone number. What did he say to you Lily? I am not a pro, I am a semi pro, is that what he said? Yeah alright back in a moment.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
