David Lawrence: That*s exactly right and then once you get that website up and running then this site will say okay that*s the website you want to do this then here are the links that are keyed specifically to you that we will know are coming from your homepage. And by the way the words homepage actually mean the main page of what could be a very large multi page site. But homepage is the entry page the main page. If you were to type in www.amazon.com not www.amazon.com blah, blah, blah but www.amazon.com you would be presented with their homepage right.

Richard: Okay yeah.

David Lawrence: Okay that*s the main page of their site. Now if you don*t have a homepage if you don*t have a website that you can then put in the URL for so that they know what you homepage is you need to create one. And you can create one through your ISP, through how you get online whether it's a local ISP or America Online. You can go and register a domain at GoDaddy.

Richard: GoDaddy okay.

David Lawrence: Right. Say you wanted it to be www.richard*sdomain.com or www.richardsellsstuffhere.com whatever it is you go over to GoDaddy you search to see if the domain name you want is available and if it is available then you say okay I want that. And you pay a fee per year to have in hold that domain name. Now also over at GoDaddy you can actually use their system to build your homepage, to build your website. So there is lots of different ways you can do that and if it's all kind of like wow this is so much stuff to worry about, so many things to deal with I suggest you go over to GoDaddy and read up on what you can do before you do anything.

Richard: Okay.

David Lawrence: No matter what you do you are going to need a domain name and so GoDaddy is really good for that and don*t forget what I said earlier in the hour. Make sure you use the code save 10 to save 10% on that. And do use GoDaddy not just because they advertise on the show but because their prices are just insanely low. If you go to network solutions for example it will cost you $35 for the first year and subsequent years. At GoDaddy you know it*s, the most you will pay is 9 bucks.

Richard: Okay.

David Lawrence: So it's worth going over there just to read up on stuff. They have got a lot of stuff you can read on the web about it and then you can go about putting things together, alright.

Richard: That*s good I appreciate the information.

David Lawrence: I thank you very much.

Richard: Okay thank you.

David Lawrence: Yep 180039 online 18003966546 Bob you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence hello sir.

Bob: Yeah I had a couple questions on Retrospect. You can get kind of a reduced copy if you go up by a new Maxtor OneTouch. But I have been searching around and I find what appears to be what I want the Box version which is Professional 7 for Windows and it appears that you can use it on anything in a home network or home office network. And I am just wondering it's an under a $100 package and for somebody that*s already got a couple months to external hard drives if that*s the road to go for good backup.
