here*s where you go www.networkforgood.org and the best thing you can do right now is to provide money. They are not looking for volunteers to go down there yet. Now obviously habitat for humanity is going to jump in there at some point and they will say hey we have got the water drained away so we will start to build things, but for right now food, supporting relief workers that are trained in what they are doing, and that*s what you want to do is go to www.networkforgood.org. We also have some warnings for you later on in the show about some very unsavory characters that are already beginning to try and take advantage of you and the victims of Katrina by trying to spam you out of your money, yeah you knew that will happen and it*s already happening. Alright so there you go www.networkforgood.org that is this hours Bookmark This and it is brought to you by Rackspace Managed Hosting, where right now you can get free enterprise class managed-backup with selected Hosting packages it*s all at Rackspace Managed Hosting. Call them at 18009612888 or visit them at www.rackspace.com.
David Lawrence: Alright 180039 online is our telephone number by the way if you hear us say something on the air and you are driving in your car or you can't quite follow and you can't jot things down quickly enough, fear not. Couple of different ways you can catch up with us on the show number one we have those show notes at www.onlinetonight.com and we will update those at the end of every hour. Then we also have the audio and the transcripts of the show that are available to you for download after the fact, the transcripts you can read free online or you can purchase a transcript that you can download and read the whole thing at your leisure. And then the audio is only 25 cents for the hour, each hour on the air or 50 cents for the show, 7 bucks for the month, 60 bucks for the entire year all the shows that we do. And that*s available at the website as well all at www.onlinetonight.com so even if you can't jot things down don*t worry about it there is plenty of different options for you to actually hear what*s going on once we get the show done. Now it*s 6 before the hour before we left we were talking with Debbie, and Debbie we dropped and got back so that*s good. So you said you had a worm or a virus, how do you know?
Debbie: Well I had ran the malicious software that MSN offers and it said everything was okay. The next day I went to get on the Internet and I had a message on the screen unable to read drive C. And it had something like hit any key to continue. So I hit the key stroke and *
David Lawrence: So I don*t know, okay I don*t know that it necessarily helps to muddy the waters by saying that you have a worm or a virus. Here*s why number one I don*t think you have any, you don*t have any proof of that, you just simply said that you ran the other stuff and it said no. But you had a problem opening up your C drive that doesn*t mean you have a worm or a virus. And it maybe that that*s why these services that you are calling are basing their amount of $200 are having to run through your drive and see if there is viruses and so on. So by saying that you maybe upping the money. So let*s not assume things that we don*t know for sure, right. So that*s one thing, you may not have a worm or a virus, you might just have a hardware failure. Which would do all the same things that you described before the break, it would make it impossible for you to find an operating system it will make it impossible for you to actually start your machine up. So that*s one thing. Now you said that it also said to you what, could not find operating system is that what you said?

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
