Bonnie: Hi David.
David Lawrence: Hi.
Bonnie: I am calling because I had a question we have just added an internal hard drive to our G4 and for a while we are able to put files onto it was just fine but now every time we try to drag a file onto it we get this message that the finder cannot complete the operation because some data in .DSStore cannot be read or written and error code 36.
David Lawrence: 36?
Bonnie: Yeah.
David Lawrence: I have 32 and I had 34 here let me see that 36. 34 means that the file that the actual device is full, 32 means that the DS stratifies which is basically a file that goes with, by the way did you format that drive to Extended HFS or is still in Windows format?
Bonnie: You know what I don*t know?
David Lawrence: Here is the thing. Is it a FireWire drive?

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
