David Lawrence: Yeah well, the direct response from me is, it*s not working the way it was advertised. I would bring it back and get a new one it*s within its warranty period, yes.

Brett: Yes.

David Lawrence: Yeah, so there is no excuse other than heat or a physical breakage or something in terms of the media that has changed or the controller software and I am assuming that none of that has changed either. For that to happen other than a failed component, so how long we had it.

Brett: Maybe two weeks.

David Lawrence: Yeah so this is actually pretty typical if a component is going to fail or if a component is going to fall down on the job, it usually does so fairly quickly or after years of use. It doesn*t usually happen after 6 months or a year you know. So I would bring it back and say look this isn*t working and I bring back the whole machine, it*s a notebook, right?

Brett: No it*s not a notebook.

David Lawrence: Oh it*s not a notebook. Okay is it a tower?

Brett: A tower, no sir.

David Lawrence: Tower.

Brett: Yes it*s a tower.

David Lawrence: Okay is the DVD burner built-in or is it external.

Brett: No it*s built-in.

David Lawrence: Okay so I would bring a tower to wherever you bought it, if they do that sort of bench stuff and show them what*s going on. You know otherwise you can take and put it on just bring it back if it*s an unconditional warranty.

Brett: Okay.

David Lawrence: Alright I wish I had some better for you, some magic bullet but that just the way things are. Kate we will get to you, coming up after the break and that gives one open line in 180039 online back in a moment.

Now you wouldn*t send your children to the worst parts of town without protecting them. Why would you put your computer on the Internet without protecting it? It*s insane. It can be compromised within minutes but I have got the solution for you and I have got the solution for you at a terrific savings. It*s called the Anonymizer Package Spyware Scan, MailShell Anti-spam Desktop at Digital Shredder. It*s available at a very special site called getprivatenow.com. Put in my name David for a discount, getprivatenow.com.
