David Lawrence: You should set it to, I think it is called a Low or Light, I think it is called Low. When you, the up grade, the SP2 upgrade has changed everything as it did the first time around with ME and with the upgrade from five to six on Internet Explorer it changes some settings in terms of what you can and cannot install. And if the security setting is too high, whenever you have to install some thing as pervasive, as Active X Controls, Direct X whatever, then you want to make sure that just for that moment that your security setting alone you can actually install them. I would suggest that you put them on Low and then go back and try to install the Active X Controls one more time. Bob you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence, hello sir.
Bob: Yes, Good Evening. I just purchased my first pre-built computer it*s a Notebook. To this point I have always got my own computer so I know everything about them. This thing has 4X DVD Burner on it. It is also burning at 0.6X. It came with cyber something like a power DVD I think it*s DVD burning software.
David Lawrence: Okay before we go any further here, what kind of masters are you what kind or blanks are you using?
Bob: 4 x Plus R TDK
David Lawrence: Okay, so as long as you, because you know, sometimes you know, we look at the package and we go yeah that will work and if it*s not built to do that, alright.
Bob: No these are 4 x TDKs
David Lawrence: And you are sure that the DVD burner is going to do that at maximum with this software, yes?
Bob: Well I have also tried Nero and that*s how I know it*s only burning at 0.6X, because Nero tells me it*s burning at 0.62X.
David Lawrence: And what does the manufacturer say?
Bob: The manufacturer of the computer
David Lawrence: Which is*
Bob: It*s VeriTech,

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
