So 1800-39 online that*s our telephone 1800-396-6546, before we went to the break we were talking with Bob, now during the break Bob, he is having an issue with a DVD Burner on a machine that he purchased either at Wal-Mart or at Sam*s club not burning up to it*s stated speed capacity.
Bob: Correct, let me tell you giving you more information,
David Lawrence: Sure.
Bob: I tracked it down to a buffer problem. The right buffer fills up to like 90%, it will burn the DVD for like a quarter of a second, the buffer fall down to 20-30%, it will start burning, refill the buffer, it will keep going that way for an hour and twenty minutes until it finally finishes the DVD whereas normally on my desktop it fills buffer to 100%, burns the DVD in fifteen minutes and it*s done.
David Lawrence: Right, so then that*s a software issue, and when you presented that to software company they said*
Bob: They said that we sell the software to the computer manufacturer they support it. But it also does the same thing with Nero, so I am thinking, could it possibly be an SP2 issue with the driver and the DVD Burner.
David Lawrence: You know, it*s getting me the point anyway. This is why Walter Mossberg says things in his columns in the Wall Street Journal all the time that it*s just too difficult to use computers. You should not, obviously you know what you are doing when it comes to certain functions on your machine and you should not have to have the level of knowledge that you have, to be able to run you machine your properly, to be able to burn a DVD.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
