Larry: Okay I am having a problem shutting off my machine when I go to shut it off, I have to go to Ctrl+Alt+Delete and then End Task and what comes up and it is already highlighted in blue is Internet Explorer and then I just hit the End Task.

David Lawrence: What version of the software are you running? What version of the Operating System of Windows are you running?

Larry: Windows 98.

David Lawrence: See this is come up again in the show. If you send me a piece of E-mail, send me E-mail at Lawrence@AOL.com or David@onlinetonight.com either one.

Larry: David@.

David Lawrence: No David@onlinetonight.com or Lawrence@AOL.com. Send me a piece of E-mail and I will pop you back an auto response that shows you how to fix the issues that are known issues with Windows 98 when it comes to shutdown. Windows 98 has a bug in it that if you got certain versions of certain software running overtime that software will lose it*s ability to listen to the system and shutdown when the system tells it to. Even if you have got all of your stuff shutdown, it still won*t shutdown because it thinks these other process are running. So there is a knowledge base article over at the Microsoft site that goes through the reasons why and also the process and also the process that you go through to fix it and then earlier we had read the E-mail from Kenneth who wrote and say he got it all fixed and he is squared away and ready to go. So I will be happy to help you with that just send me a piece of E-mail okay.

Larry: Okay wait let me get that David@onlinetonight.com.

David Lawrence: There you go.

Larry: Okay thank you.

David Lawrence: I appreciate it.

Larry: Okay.
