David Lawrence: I am doing okay thank you for asking.
Robert: Love the show.
David Lawrence: Thank you.
Robert: I had a question about laptop. I heard you talking about this Sony VAIO one time and I heard you just said that you like that more than the Dell and the HP and I am just wondering why you liked it better.
David Lawrence: For the particular uses that we have the Sony has very fine attention to detail when it comes to sound and when it comes to video. And in our case the VAIO is a very well designed machine always, has been. And it's always been more expensive as well. It also has Firewire built in which for our purposes we love because we do a lot of work with sound. We do a lot of work with digital video and so on. The form factors are usually a little thinner, a little hotter. I mean I kind of look at Sony as the Apple in terms of design of the Windows World. They tend to get new technologies and make them available to people. Magic Sticks you know if you are using Magic Stick on a portable device those are usually, there is usually a slot for that on your machine. It's not for everybody and in fact when you are looking to save money that*s the last place that I would send you is to Sony. But I just like the overall construction of the machine. I like the way they put things together. They have never disappointed me in terms of tech support and so you know I just like it, alright?
Robert: Okay thanks a lot.
David Lawrence: I appreciate the call. 180039 online of course Your Mileage May Vary YMMV and I would love to hear if you had different experiences. 180039 online back in a moment.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
