No because what you are talking about there is Antivirus software. Now I know the line between Spyware and viruses is blurring because the virus guys are getting together with the Spyware guys and it*s just getting to be just junk on you computer if you are not protected. But yeah and in fact this is one of the reasons why I wrote 10 Quick Steps to Stopping Spam and 10 Quick Steps to Stopping Popup Ads because I show you very step by step how to get rid of Spyware and stop popup ads and stop spam in a holistic way. Everything you can possibly do. These are just three prongs these three pieces of Adaware or AntiSpyware or AntiAdware just three prongs in a very large massive effort that you can put forth just once or twice and you can really clean up your machine. Go check it out over at www.10quicksteps.com 10 Quick Steps to Stopping Popup Ads and 10 Quick Steps to Stopping Spam. Both of them will help you out. They are 20 bucks each and well worth the money. So the question is should I delete trial virus software Antivirus software like MacAfee before using this three pieces of AntiSpyware software. The answer is no. They are completely different types of software. One battles viruses and Trojan horses and the others, the AntiSpyware battles the Spyware that can be put on your machine and they are specialized. Now some Antivirus companies are putting out AntiSpyware. So it gets a little confusing and there are packages out there. Panda puts one out, so little confusing. But these are the ones that I recommend. I also recommend Panda*s Titanium Antivirus software over all others. Those are my recommendations and that*s what I send back to you. But it*s a good question. Don*t delete your Antivirus software to use AntiSpyware software unless you are going to use new Antivirus software. Then always delete the old Antivirus software before installing a new antiviral software and do it offline. So you can't possibly get infected during that little moment when you are switching software. 180039 online that*s our telephone number 18003966546. This portion of the show brought to by Sonic Memo. Devin: Hello. I have Retrospect installed on my computer that I backup in external hard drive and when I do that it says backed up with errors. How can I find out what those errors are and how do I correct them?
David Lawrence: Alright so it*s easy to find out what the errors are and usually with Retrospect you don*t have to correct them. The errors, because it takes a while to backup your machine and you might go on a website or you might go about your business and get E-mail and whatnot the things that are being changed as you are doing your backup will not match up when it goes back and checks to make sure that the backup was perfect. And you expect that your E-mail corpus, the body of E-mail, you might get new E-mails and so that file will change. Or your Cache will change if you are backing up everything as we suggest. Your cache will change if you go to websites and grab new files. So the errors are found under the log which is under the Windows menu in Retrospect*s executable. You just go there, look at that log and it will tell you exactly what didn*t match up. It*s okay if you backup with errors. Now if you look at that log and it says you know problem with media or problem reading off the drive those will be in red and you will see those right away. But usually what its saying is these files don*t match up and you will probably notice that there are files that you would expect to change anyway. So I wouldn*t worry about it. That*s where you find it. It*s under logs, okay?
Devin: Yeah I have another question.
David Lawrence: Real quick.
Devin: The tech support person from Maxtor helped me setup a shortcut that I click on the desktop to actually do the backup. And after it says backed up with errors it immediately takes me back to the desktop.
David Lawrence: Right it automatically quits and takes you back to the desktop. That*s the behavior of Retrospect.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
