Sheela: The only thing is he didn*t do it.
David Lawrence: Okay.
Sheela: They used to, somebody used his screen name and password.
David Lawrence: Wow!
Sheela: So I don*t know what to do about it.
David Lawrence: That*s a tough position to be in yeah. So tell me a little bit more about this if you can I mean obviously you don*t have to name names or anything. But just tell me about the state that you live in, is it a right to work state do you know.
Sheela: It*s Illinois.
David Lawrence: Okay so with rare exceptions it is not necessarily the responsibility of the employer to tell you or to have a really good reason as to why they are letting you go. And if the company*s policy is that using eBay or using you know online shopping or chatting online or using something that isn*t company stuff. If that*s against their policy and it*s a terminable offense you know I am not a lawyer you should contact an employment lawyer if you really want to take it that far. But usually they can drop you for that reason if it*s part their and if the employee actually agreed to that that*s even more flame to the fire. Now the business of somebody using his ID and password had he shared his ID and password with anybody.
Sheela: Not that I know I don*t even know it*
David Lawrence: So then the question is how did someone come by his username and password?
Sheela: Good question, someone in shop --
David Lawrence: It*s a small shop okay so does he know who used his username and password.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
