Sheela: He has no idea. And the funny thing is he doesn*t like PCs and he is afraid of the Internet. And he never had even tried to get on eBay.
David Lawrence: So overall, does he want to still work for a company that would fire him for something that A) he didn*t do something that B) he probably would never do and C) something that he can't prove to the company he didn*t do. Would he want to work for somebody that would take somebody else*s word over his?
Sheela: Oh when you are 62 --
David Lawrence: I get it I understand. So then here*s what I would do and this is what I would this is less tech and more personal life skill. I would talk to a lawyer and I would to the labor board as well. And I would say you know look this isn*t right and even the answer may come back well that*s too bad they have just looked for a reason to get rid of you and they did. And unfortunately that*s it. But I would also if it was really important enough I would talk to a lawyer and tell them what happened. You might have an action the lawyer will tell you.
Sheela: The employment lawyer*
David Lawrence: A lawyer that specializes yeah a lawyer that specializes in labor relations, employment law, human resources and so on. And tell them what happened and you know maybe spend an hour with the lawyer and say here here*s the story and this just isn*t right. And who knows what can happen there if you get a good one. And you might want to ask for some recommendations talk to two or three and then find out. But that*s a tough position to be in and it*s also good to look for someone who understands technology. Because then they are not sitting there and going well how could somebody get his password. You know there is a million ways to do it. The network itself could have a sniffer on it. You know other people might have his username and password if he is afraid of PCs there maybe some information that he isn*t aware of like his username and password is public knowledge you know I mean it might just be one of those life security situations where yeah there is a username and password. But only because you have to have a username and password, not because you are actually trying to keep somebody else from using the computer.
Sheela: I get you.
David Lawrence: You see what I am saying.
Sheela: Yes.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
