helps many more people than the guy who calls up and says yeah I put together my dual processor Intel 4.6 gig and I was wondering if you could tell me which programs are aware of the dual process you know, I can help that guy. But when you call up and you say hey what does it mean BCC in E-mail? I see it all the time I don*t know what it means? When you say broadband versus dialup, what does that mean broad? Why is it called broadband you know? What does DSL stand for? Things like that. You know we love answering those questions. So don*t be afeard as my friend Bob would say, don*t be afeard of calling up and asking those real simple, real basic questions. What do we do here on the show? We talk about technology, your Macintosh, your Windows machine, the Internet, building websites, RSS, Podcasting, mp3 players, online investing, how to stop pop up ads, how to deal with spam, whether not to get a Mac or a PC, what to do when your kids are going off to school. We cover all that and so much more. And it*s easy to get in touch with us. The toll free number remains the same, 180039 Online. We are on great radio stations all across the country including the mighty WGN Radio 720 in Chicago Illinois, KNEW in San Francisco, KFBK in Sacramento and on both XM and Sirius Satellite radios and we appreciate you are coming in for us. And you can also get to us on our website. You can go to the website. You can catch all the notes. We will actually be a little bit delayed tonight because of where we are and how we are doing things. We will put all the notes up after the show. But we will take your calls all throughout the night at 180039 Online. Let*s kick off with Derek. Derek you are on Online Tonight with David Lawrence, hello sir.
Derek: Hey David.
David Lawrence: How are you sir?
Derek: Well okay.
David Lawrence: Okay how can I help you?

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
