David Lawrence: So they were selling the Student and Teachers Edition of Microsoft Office at Wal-Mart?
Martin: You know I have like Excel and Outlook and Word and all those things.
David Lawrence: Okay so did you purchase it or did you ask them about it?
Martin: No I didn*t ask them about it. They work at Wal-Mart. They will tell you what to talk about.
David Lawrence: Okay. Well okay. I find it strange #1 that Wal-Mart would be selling the Student and Teachers Edition of the software because usually that*s sold through collegiate book stores, through high schools, through educational divisions, organizations and whatnot. And usually they are some sort of proof that you are either a student or a teacher or an administrator someway in someway associated with the education sector. The fact that Wal-Mart*s selling it is kind of interesting. You know hold the line and we will discuss the differences. There aren*t that many. And it*s also a hack of a lot cheaper. So just hang on. Hey it*s Online Tonight. I am David Lawrence.
David Lawrence: Hey it*s David Lawrence and Bob Parsons who is the President and Founder of GoDaddy who you have been listening to during the show. He asked me to help him get Radio GoDaddy started and to reach out to folks like you because it*s important to him and to the people who work for the company to have informed and involved customers. You can get all the details on this show at www.radiogodaddy.com. But the more you know about the Internet, how it affects you, how you can succeed by being a part of it, the more likely you are to become a GoDaddy customer. That*s all there is to it. Now apart from that I can*t think of any company or chief executive more willing to step up and address contentious and often polarizing issues. It*s part of his nature. Check out www.bobparsons.com as well as the new site he has set up at www.thedangerofnoprivacy.com. I join with Bob at GoDaddy in urging you to get involved. Think of the Internet as you would, your hometown or your country. Your voice can help make it the place you want to be. Go to www.godaddy.com, if you buy anything there use David as your checkout code, get a dollar off. That*s GoDaddy.
Geek Speak, alright the Geek Speak for this hour is PVR and we will get to that in just a second.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
