David Lawrence: Yeah we will show you how to do all that web connections and so on. And there is other things that are coming down the pike that will change it. You have to upgrade the firmware for but for right now that will work out just fine for you. Alright we have got an open line 180039 online is our telephone number 18003966546. Chuck you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence hello.
Chuck: Hello yes I was hoping you could point me in the right direction. I have been searching online shopping for a device that would not only let me listen to FM radio but record it on a device that would also play and store mp3 music and you know have at least like a gig of storage for files of music and other things on that.
David Lawrence: Okay.
Chuck: I have found overseas is the only place I can find it. I found a company called iRiver.
David Lawrence: Right and iRiver was one of the companies that I was going to recommend. In fact I use the iRiver IFP 799T to do some of my remote Podcasting with and they have got some really great devices for doing just exactly what you are trying to do.
Chuck: Right and it looks great it's got you know 5 gig upto 20 gig capacities.
David Lawrence: Right
Chuck: I don*t myself need anything quite that potent and I was hoping to find like a less expensive.
David Lawrence: How much were they?
Chuck: They started in price at $200 and went on upto--
David Lawrence: Right okay so then the Archaos was the other device that I was going to recommend but if that*s too high for you then forget the Archaos. The iRiver you can get lower quantity, lower storages rates and get the price down but that*s about the price point that you are going to start with this thing especially for all the things that you want to do. If it's got an FM tuner built into it that*s going to add a little bit to the cost but they add more to the retail so that*s about right. Yeah that*s about right. So I appreciate the call, back in the moment with Online Tonight.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
