Richard: I have a Linksys Wired Router and I am using that with the cable modem and _______1.50.41 two or three Windows XP computers.

David Lawrence: Okay, so what is your question?

Richard: I had this happened one time before, in two of the computers, I can*t get on to the Internet and one of the computers I can. Now I had ran it through a power-cycle I forget whether I do the cable modem first or the router first or the computers first.

David Lawrence: Well, the thing to do is to shut everything down. Let me just tell you exactly how to do is and then you will be good to go, okay.

Richard: Okay.

David Lawrence: Shut everything down, unplug everything not from each other but from the wall, unplugging the Ethernet connection doesn*t going to do anything. Just unplug them from the wall, unplug everything from the strip or whatever, and then plug them all back in and then turn on the DSL or cable router first then the router and then the computers and then you should good to go.
