And that*s kind of what I was going to talk about when it came to Pod Casting, pod casting for those of you who don*t know, for those of you have iPods or that have portal mp3 devices or just listen to audio on your computer. Pod Casting is a very cool way that via RSS, which is just a way of getting data from one server to your computer with your permission Real Simple Syndication (RSS). The new RSS 2.0 spec allows you to include rich media, audio, video, etc, and pod casting has sort of grown up out of that where the process goes like this. Performer does show, half hour pod casting show. It*s audio it*s available on mp3. They put it up on their server usually in a blog entry. The RSS feed for that blog entry starts to beep you know it starts to tell all the people that are connected to that RSS feed, hey there is a new show check it out. The RSS reader actually grabs the feed including the audio. And if you have got pod casting receiving software like iPodder or jPodder or others that are equivalent to that, it will download the audio. If you are running an iPod, put it into iTunes and then automatically sink up your iTunes with your iPod, so that the process goes like this. When you get up in the morning everything that you subscribe to is waiting for you automatically on your iPod for you to grab it out of the cradle and head off to work and just to do it in the car or at work or on the bus or whatever you do. It*s all brand new stuff from all the people that you have said hey I want to get there shows. Now I have had probably a 100 E-mails in the last month from people who would like us to enable pod casting for our show every night, it*s a natural. But the problem is, is that we use BitPass and iPodder and jPodder and all of the other pieces of software out there have no hook in them that would allow us to authenticate those people who have paid for their subscription. There have been people who said why do you charge at all? Here is why we started charging, way back when we were so popular, the show was so popular that we were downloading in one month 14 terabytes of data. That will give you an idea what that is, that*s a 1000 gigabytes x 14 every month. And our ISP was like hey hello, hey so what we did was we throttled it two ways, #1 by charging a lot less people will download it and #2 the Sirius people will help us to pay that bandwidth cost, so that*s the deal. If we just went back to pod casting, well then it would be you know or went back to the free download, which is what would be required for pod casting. We would be faced with the same thing sort of being a victim of our own success. And I believe that*s what is stopping a lot of people from doing pod cast and the real problem is pod cast get more popular because you know bandwidth cost money, there is not a lot deals out there where you get unlimited bandwidth. And the professionals and the semi professional, who would put together terrific shows, shows that sound great and are filled with great information. They are going to do unless they see some sort of money at the end of the rainbow because it*s what they do for a living. Then there is the issue of licensing and so on. So my admonition is twofold, #1 that BitPass get off the pod and join the world of pod casting make sure that we can unable our BitPass stuff to be pod cast. And #2 that the whole industry starts looking towards the people who do pod castings doing ads in their pod cast, that*s the only way that the money is going to be ameliorated either ad supported or by subscription and so far there is no workable way to do that. So pod casting in and of itself very cool, very hit. It*s like desktop publishing in 1985, it*s like blogging in 2000, anybody can do it so everybody will do it. And then eventually the cream will rise to the top, but until you can make money with it the Sirius people won*t stay around and do it. So that*s the story, right now its people saying hey please go to my website and click on my AdWare links, which by the way is against their terms of service. So it*s 20 minutes before the hour 180039 Online is our telephone 18003966546 I am going to go with Joe here, Joe you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence hello.

Joe: Hi David thanks for taking my call.

David Lawrence: Yes sir.
