Tonight's notes: (?)

7pm PT:

Meaghan Murphy, reporter on the staff of STAR Magazine, joins us live from here in LA to look at the top stories in America's pop culture magazine of record, including stories on Ryan Phillippe, J-Lo, and Renee Zellweger.

8pm PT:

Jean Claude LaMarre, writer, director and star of Color of the Cross, joins us live in studio, to lok at his controversial new film, depicting Jesus as a black man, and the potential racial overtones of the torture of his last 48 hours and his death. LaMarre discusses the changes in the independent film industry and the slow death of the Hollywood studio filmmaking and distribution system.

9pm PT:

Amie Barsky, actor and partner of OC Films, joins us live in studio, with her husband and partner Paul Alessi, and her partners in OC Films to discuss indie film making, acting with your spouse, cracking the distribution system and getting the film you want made, made. Plus, she was my scene partner at Howard Fine, so she rocks.
