George: I just got a new computer. I got to have buy myself a Christmas present and has Windows XP Home on it. Now I know few difference differences between 2000 Pro and usually when I install a program, it goes to right to right to the desktop. I can use it drag and down to the bottom of the screen.
David Lawrence: You know I have noticed that too. I have XP Pro on my machine. It doesn*t work in XP Pro either and I have yet to find the little switch that everybody does know does know how you can actually drag either the actual icon for the application or a shortcut for the applications called a Shortcut on windows machines Aliases on Macintoshes. Drags the Shortcut right down to the Task Bar as it you know, you have been able to so since 95. I drag it down and nothing happens.
George: Right.
David Lawrence: What it does do is open up the folder, it drags the folder that contains that item down to the Task Bar on my Windows XP Pro so, it just might be a setting I have gotten around to. And that*s one of those little things that I just haven*t gone to find yet so --

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
