This is David Lawrence with a Panda Software Virus Alert. PandaLabs TruPrevent technology has discovered Sober.I. It*s a worm that spreads via E-mail in a message that changes on a regular basis. Panda is still studying this. They are placing it at a red alert level high threat. They are still trying to figure out all the different things that it does. They have also discovered Msnsoug. A, a Trojan that sends the message SOU GAY that means I am gay in Portuguese to all the contacts in an MSN messenger list that are active at the moment. Both of these affect all flavors of Windows. Make sure your machine is safe from infection. Go to pandachallenge.com for a free sweep of your hard drive and special pricing on panda products. That*s pandachallenge.com.

This show first heard on Saturday, January 1st 2005.

Did I mention to you how much lately I love FileMaker Pro. I mean you know every so often I think them as boy, it will be real cool if I can automate this thing. It*s just it*s by road, it is stuff that happens over and over again. And FileMaker Pro it does it for me it is amazing. I am using it right now in between the breaks to create the BitPass data files for the whole year for all of 2005. And I can do it so quickly that you know I have got January done, once I get January done I just change the dates of all the rest of the months. And I am all finished we are good to go, it is fabulous. Alright now it is eight and half minutes pass the hour my name is David Lawrence and this radio show is called Online Tonight we are heard across the country on great radio stations including the might WGN in Chicago. We are heard on KFBK in Sacramento. We are heard on KNEW in San Francisco, we are heard on stations in Portland and Seattle and Anchorage and Boston and soon, I can*t really talk about it but we are going be on a station in Washington DC. We will let you know that is going to happen plus on XML series we will appreciate you tuning in this show. However you are picking us up. Our toll free telephone number is 180039 Online that*s 18003966546 you can use that number, once we have an open line. To talk to us about technology, pop culture, the Internet, the websites, your Macintosh, your PC, Windows Operating system, MAC OS, your PDAs whether they be palm, pocket PC, your cell phone, your portable devices, how you build websites, how you search with Google, how you build coolly commerce stuff, HTML and PHP and all that junk. And we all talk about it as though it*s a language we all understand. Now I do want to mention something. When you call feel free to call with questions that you just you know you just don*t want to ask other people around you. Because you think they are too simple. Feel free to call us and ask us that we love helping people who are new to technology. And simple I mean you can call me and you can place stump the tech guy if you want. But for people that are just getting started especially those people that just got technology for Christmas. You don*t understand how to do you Replay or your TiVo or your new mp3 device or you don*t understand the differences between you know the protected music of the iTunes music store and the mp3s that you have been hearing about. Or you don*t understand how something happens in E-mail or why a security level prevents you from getting attachments or why you can change the capitalization of letters in a domain name but you can*t change the capitalization of letters in the rest of the path. Right Online Tonight with a capital O onlinetonight.com with the capital O is the same as online tonight with the lower case o, but everything after that has to be correct. Why is that? Feel free if those are the kinds of questions you have. Is there something that has been bugging you, you just don*t get it. And keep trying to get through because we get through the cause as quickly as you can*t give everybody the time that we think we can get by with. Just so that everybody gets chance to get on the air.
