David Lawrence: And then you know open AIF file or open you know QuickTime movie or something that says okay QuickTime is working. Startup Classic, make sure it*s working then do the upgrade and see if the upgrade breaks things. Did this ever work?
Justin: Yeah.
David Lawrence: Okay so you had upgraded the Jaguar.
Justin: Yes.
David Lawrence: And it worked just fine.
Justin: Well I had Jaguar to start with and then I upgraded to Panther and then it worked fine. And only what I did was I actually deleted some system file that were required and so then I reinstalled my systems from Jaguar and then Panther and after that was all finished--
David Lawrence: So you didn*t actually wipe your drive?
Justin: No.
David Lawrence: Okay.
Justin: And it put the previous system in a folder called older systems.
David Lawrence: Older systems.
Justin: And the first time, I tried to use something that was Classic native and--
David Lawrence: That*s when you got the problems.
Justin: Yeah that*s why I got the problem and the Classic just wouldn*t startup.
David Lawrence: So are you pretty clean about how you arrange things on your drive. I mean, is it all of your applications in the applications folder, all your documents in the documents folder.
Justin: Hmm.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
