We had Gisela Houseman on the show last time on the David Lawrence show which you may or may not get on your local radio station. And we were talking about the sad state of affair just a horrendous state of affairs of math education in this country this is a German native who came here and was shocked and amazed at this slow and steady decline of the United States in the world when it comes to math education. Now what is the one category of jobs that is predicted to double in size over 5 years, technology. What is technology based on, math. If you don*t get math I mean you know not hardcore theoretical math, just math. If you don*t get math you are not going to get a job in this industry this is not going to happen. So 180039 online is our telephone number hope that your answers your questions John 18003966546 let*s go to Rich you are online tonight with David Lawrence. Hey Rich.

Rich: Hi David you got a great show.

David Lawrence: Thank you very much. Where are you hearing it from?

Rich: I am hearing it from Wood Dale, Illinois.

David Lawrence: In Chicago area?

Rich: WGN.

David Lawrence: WGN okay great how can I help you?

Rich: Question is for months now, at least three times a week I get an E-mail from a company that advertises ultra cheap software. And one of the things that they sell is XP professional for $80. Now they say that it is the disc, only and it is what they call OEM software and it*s without the support of the Microsoft.

David Lawrence: Right, which is absolutely essential. So the question you might have is, is this really for real?

Rich: Right.

David Lawrence: And in general and in life when things seem to be too good to be true except of course for this radio program.

Rich: Right.

David Lawrence: They are and especially when it comes to what*s called OEM software. Do you know what OEM software stands for?

Rich: Original Equipment Manufacture.
