Monday, July 16, 2007: TV, stage and film's Eric Filipkowski, Dr. Lawrence Hunter of The Institute for Policy Innovation and the BBC's Chris Vallance, plus calls, instant messages and emails about pop culture, the day's news and a smattering of technology...it's The David Lawrence Show for a Monday.

Tonight's notes: (?)

7pm PT:

Eric Filipkowski, comedian and purveyor of HollywoodPhony.com, joins us live in-studio to discuss the news of the day, including what possible solutions there might be (or not) to solve the Middle East crisis.

8pm PT:

Dr. Lawrence Hunter, Fellow of The Institute for Policy, joins us live from Washington, DC to discuss a concept we've presented before: the myth of "price gouging". There is no such thing, and Dr. Hunter will tell you why I say so.

9pm PT:

Chris Vallance, BBC broadcaster, now on sabbatical, and now of the Los Angeles area, joins us live in-studio to look at the podcasting community's coverage of the London suicide bombings, and how the rest of the established media compares. As an Englishman in LA, we look at how he's handling this situation from afar.
