David Lawrence: Okay so when you got your kit from Comcast, now usually by the way Comcast is a cable company that usually sells cable access. And you taught me something I didn't know they were offering DSL now but I see that they are.

Mitch: They do, they sent a technician out to install the kit for me.

David Lawrence: The chip.

Mitch: And he couldn*t acknowledge the kit.

David Lawrence: Oh the kit. Oh I see so they had a truck roll and the guy couldn*t get it going?

Mitch: Couldn*t get it going and they sent out another technician, he couldn*t get it going and then I made a couple of phone calls and nobody seems to able to get it going for me.

David Lawrence: So what is your machine like? Is it a hand-built machine, is it a machine --

Mitch: I have a Compaq Presario which I am running with Windows XP.

David Lawrence: Okay and there is nothing special about your machine that you know of, that would prevent you from say going and getting a cable modem and plugging it and then having it work, yes?

Mitch: Not I know of.

David Lawrence: They completely uninstalled the SPC Yahoo software, right?

Mitch: Yes.

David Lawrence: And then installed their software before plugging into their, have they tried to replace the DSL modem that they have provided perhaps that's a problem.

Mitch: Yesterday that they brought out of couple modems and tried them.
