David Lawrence: Well then in that case I can*t recommend a Macintosh highly enough, the fact that GarageBand and iPhoto are applications that in many purchase configurations come with the machine. You have two of the most powerful pieces of software for doing music and are you talking about creating music or you are talking about playing back music?

Fad: I am just talking about you know retrieving music from the web and you know burning to CDs and such.
