David Lawrence: No, no I just shot a short an independent short, it was really funny because usually when you shoot a film like as at Universal last January shooting a commercial for Sony. And you know the equipment is huge and it*s on a dolly and it*s got the big bezel in front of it to just keep the sun out and it*s got gates on either side. You know the barn doors and whatnot and huge counterweights and everything and the camera itself is very large as well. Well now with these tiny HD cameras, it*s like all there is accouterment and the camera where is the camera.
Mike: Well the question I have really for you, that I am thinking about getting a Dell 24 inch monitor. Will that work on Apple?
David Lawrence: Absolutely, the nice thing about monitors and you might want to look at the SG monitor, the Silicon graphics monitor as well because it*s a little bit cheaper and it*s a little bit nicer and it*s a DVI*
Mike: There is 1200 and it*s on sale for 9.
David Lawrence: Well okay. Well then it*s okay, yeah as long as it*s got DVI on it right, so there you go you are done.
Mike: The other thing that plays over is web design.
David Lawrence: Yeah it*s absolutely very nice for web design because you can put multiple pages up you can put browser next to your TV editor. Whatever you are using for environment, but that s what I would suggest.
Mike: Alright.
David Lawrence: I appreciate the call. And I thank you for tuning into the show. Take a break be right back.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
