Mike: I am in hills of Pennsylvania if any better.

David Lawrence: Actually I did get a little bit better I go ahead and state your question again.

Mike: I raise my hand but I don*t know how one I can live it up anyways yes I distribute by Dell computer when I bought it I have only had it for about 8 months. It worked beautifully on you know Wi-Fi channels at the third slots.

David Lawrence: Right.

Mike: I talk to their home for about 3 months and then reconfigured it full about and then hooked up to a cable and now that I put it back in the truck then I won't even pick up a Wi-Fi signal when I am in the network.

David Lawrence: Really did you disable the internal Wi-Fi antenna when you set it up for the LAN.

Mike: I didn*t set it up. My kids did and they are much more computer savvy than I.

David Lawrence: Well basically what you want to do is you want to switch network connections and so you want to go to the control panel called network and there you will find out which network you are connected to. You also if you on the Dell laptop in the lower right hand corner what*s called the notification area of the taskbar if you don*t even see an antenna or some sort of an icon that says Wi-Fi then again going to the network panel will let you find that. But if there is one there you might want to click on it and launch it or open it or start it. It may just be that what your kids did when they set you up on the LAN is it they completely disabled the Wi-Fi part of it because it kept picking up local open Wi-Fi networks around your home. So they may have just disabled that to get it connected to the LAN all you have to do is re-enable that and then what will happen is once your computer starts to find these Wi-Fi networks that will popup what looks like a little cartoon balloon of the notification there but I am thinking that right now all that*s going on here is that the circuitry on your computer that is designed to pick up Wi-Fi connections has simply being disabled then you need to re-enable that and that will take care of it. 180039 online is our telephone number 18003966546 Jason you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence hello.
