David Lawrence: Right, I am not sure well that adds a whole another level of complexity because the version of WinFax that you are attempting to use may not be compatible with your computer.

Walt: I see.

David Lawrence: That*s one thing, you might want to go to the Google WinFax, go to their website and see what there current version is and upgrade to the version that is appropriate for your edition of Windows. That*s an important thing and also make sure that WinFax is compatible with your modem. There are some modems that the software that uses modems, faxing software particularly just simply doesn*t like and you can find a list of those modems on the WinFax side. But more importantly get the version of WinFax that is appropriate. You will find that it works just fine.

Walt: Very good

David Lawrence: Alright

Walt: Thank you very much.

David Lawrence: I appreciate the call. I don*t use faxing software out of any of the machines that I have. I actually use a service called eFax, which I love because eFax lets you receive faxes via E-mail. You get a phone number that really doesn*t correspond to anything, anywhere in the country. I am here in Los Angeles but my eFax number is in Maine somewhere. In fact people go, well how come your number is in the 323 number you know like or 310 number like in Los Angeles because they look for numbers in underused area codes. Sparsely populated areas like Montana where they may have multiple area codes but not so many numbers assigned and they use some of those unused numbers for these eFax numbers. So when people fax to it, it actually goes to eFax*s servers which then takes the fax images it into a TIFF file and sends it to me via E-mail. There is a free reader that I can use, I can print it out, I can save it as a PDF, I can alter it in any number of Adobe products. And then I can fax it back so it*s very cool, you should check it out eFax.com. 180039 online is our telephone number 18003966546.

Question via instant message from Maweka82. What do you think of the new Mac minis and another instant message what do you think of the iPod shuffles. Well the Mac mini is very interesting thing. To me it is an attempt by Apple to simply make it easy for those of you who are Windows users and have already invested money in a monitor, and a keyboard and a mouse which these days isn*t all that much but it can be significant. And you just simply remove the Windows box and put in the Mac mini box if you have a really nice monitor and you wanted to upgrade to the new Mac Mini you can do that as well. One of the things you got to be careful of, is it*s not really all that much upgradable at least not at this point. You can get extra RAM port up to a Gig of RAM and go up to 1.6 Gigahertz but it is simply designed as an entry-level machine for people that already have other devices they can plug into it. And its worth looking at it if you really want to make the switch over to Macintosh, 500 bucks, entry price. I will talk about the iPod shuffle up next when we come back, it*s Online Tonight.
